Investigation on HTFs Flammability using Visualization

Motivation

   Research of Particle Size Measurement and Flammability studies properties of liquid aerosol using atomizer. Atomization process can be divided into three zones; compact stream zone, disintegration zone, and fully atomized zone. Among three zones, compact stream zone is not aerosol. Thus, Laser diffraction drop/particle sizer needs to pass through disintegration zone and fully atomized zone.

   Without High speed visualization, applying laser beam to every zone can distinguish each zone. It, however, is time-consuming work. If high speed visualization is applied, we can easily distinguish. Therefore, High speed visualization has been applied to get better understand properties of sprays and flammability and to be more efficient experiment.
